last june i was in malmo for the annual bowl comp... the park has been packed with skater all through the weekend. on monday, just a few hours before catching the train to denmark we checked in thrilled by the idea of a long overwaited session in an empty skatepark. just the time to really catch up with the hip and we've been showered away. ale "volpe" volpin took this photo using an old fm2 nikon film cam... it's a while since i started desiring a photo of myself doing a decent lien air. thanks ale.

it's been a while since i was on tour with analog... 2 years. today i randomly got into this clip gathering most of the stuff sean landed on the european ground back then. yep the guy is killing it... but what even impressed me is the new "watch in high quality" mode of youtube (get to the youtube page of the video to check it out). full screen playback on domestic tubes is quality-affordable... the revolution is about to happen.

ok this is one of those b-movie where:

yes it's true... but the point isn't about how the "goonies' brat" makes out pamela gilden but rather: how cool skateboarding comes out from this movie... specially if you are 13 years old in the late eighties and you live in a small shit hole village in norther italy. definitely devastating.

I never thought to set up a show featuring my pictures... It just randomly happened. One day Liz turned up with: "ehy I'm having a photo show at the Lugano (CH) Concrete Bar would you like to set up a photo show too?" I was like: "Fuck yes!"

That's how about Through My Eyes show came to life. Nothing too artsy. Nothing too serious... Just a buch of picts (around 200) ordinated on two panels. Just a bunch of moments gone "trhough my eys" while I was busy doing something else.

La scorsa estate il tempo è stato una merda... la merda però ha vari livelli. quando ti trovi in svizzera, nel cantone dei grigioni, la settimana di ferragosto, scopri che il giger bar è un posto del cazzo, e piove... bhe quando ti trovi in una situazione del genere, allora puoi dire di stare veramente in cima a un bel mucchietto di concime. nulla di grave per carità: la buona compagnia salva sempre ogni situazione. cosa stavame dicento? ah si! arriviamo a chur tipo alle 20:00 e ci gettiamo alla ricerca di un albergo. i pochi posti che vediamo in giro sono "super casher". la gente (come è consuetudine in svizzera, nei grigioni ancor di più) sorride poco e la voglia di chiedere info ci passa subito. vaghiamo così girando in tondo (la città è un buco) per una mezz'ora fino a quando in una via imboscata a lato del centro troviamo questo albergo ristorante che pare promettere stanze non troppe costose. rimango in macchina gli altri scendono a chiedere. presto scopro che i prezzi sono abbordabili ma la situazione è un pò strana: "la signora ci ha parlato di una stanza normale ed una speciale". ci accontentiamo? assolutamente si! sbrighiamo le pratiche di "check in" e ci viene indicata la direzione pe i nostri alloggi. il posto è pulito e ordinato (come tutto in svizzera) ma tutto è pervaso da un non so che di trash. nulla di troppo evidente ma certo qualcosa non torna. la stanza particolare disponeva di un lavandino doppio (?!), un "bel" letto a castello e un materasso buttato a terra... la stanza "normale" si dimostra essere una sorta di alcova con perlinata, dotata di divano luigi 113, letto altissimo e dalla testata in legno super-mega-arzigogolata... in un angola della stanza al fine di renderla più "comoda" era stato sistemato un gabbiotto prefabbricato contenete un cesso.

per andare a pisciare passavi dalla casa di hedi alla roullotte di uno zingaro. globale!

lo so che magari scritto così non rende abbastanza... ma ve lo garantisco... il posto era assurdo... ce la ghigniamo tutti di gusto. ma che cazzo di gusto dell'orrido hanno sti tipi? ad un certo punto la mia attenzione viene carpita da un quadro che sta appeso in bella vista dirimpetto al letto.

taipei, taiwan, ottobre 2006 in hotel in un buco rimasto libero tra un impegno e l'altro decido di accendere la televisione... mi piace quando sono all'estero dare un occhio a cosa passa in tv. zappando tra i pochi canali disponibili mi imbatto in alcune visioni veramente "interessanti". i programmi scorrono incomprensibili, tipici, ma tutto sommato accettabili

... ma le cose interssanti sono li da poco ad arrivare: doveva trattarsi di un roba tipo la nostrana "buona domenica", al posto degli insulsi barale costanzo lippi mi trovo davanti a dei personaggini niente male tra cui questo ultraperformante "little tony dei poveri (cinesi)" . la sua una performance canora ai limiti dell'indecente... anzi ben oltre questi limiti, fino a toccare livelli di imbarazzo che traboccando dallo schermo riesono a farmi sentire quasi a disagio.

Sti cazzi... proprio no, non è il "bolghezio" locale ma bensi un altro eccezionalmente irruento performer dagli occhi a mandorla

e se "little yellow tony" ci credeva di brutto, bolghezio riesce a fare anche di meglio!

è strano come a volte alcuni angoli di mondo possano carpire la tua attenzione... non so come no so perchè ma questo cazzo di 7eleven mi ha incantato.. così luminoso in mezzo ad una città dai suoni gutturali. vivo ma al contempo senza anima... un luogo di passaggio senza carattere, asettico, inutile... ed accogliente... accogliente nel suo essere non essere in grado nemmeno di metterti a disagio. Spento nei suoi accecanti bagliori. privo di senso. moderno. utile. futile. fuori dal tempo.
